Helping families navigate the conversations that matter
Independent facilitation for families navigating transition, succession and intergenerational change
Why SOVIA ?
Wealth can be passed on.
Continuity has to be built together.
It often begins with one generation.
A business is built. Wealth is created. A family legacy takes shape.
Then comes the more delicate question: how do we pass it on?
Because the next generation inherits more than assets. It inherits a story, expectations, relationships — and memories, values and emotional patterns carried across generations and cultures.
For international families, these conversations can become even more complex, as generations, cultures and different ways of seeing the world come together.
Sovia Generations creates a neutral and confidential space for the conversations that matter — helping families understand what they carry forward, bridge differences and shape what comes next together.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Bridging wealth, generations and cultures.
Bo Huang is the founder of Sovia Generations. For more than 20 years, she has worked at the intersection of investment, entrepreneurship and private wealth, building trusted relationships with institutional investors, family offices, entrepreneurs and families across Europe.
Her career has taken her across London, Paris, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Monaco, giving her first-hand exposure to the complexity that often surrounds wealth: ownership, succession, changing family roles and the expectations placed on the next generation.
Over time, one conviction became increasingly clear: successful transmission is not only about preparing assets and structures. It is also about preparing people.
This led Bo to develop an approach that combines her financial experience and Multi-Family Officer qualification with facilitation, human dynamics and an understanding of transgenerational patterns.
French-Chinese and having lived and worked between different cultures for more than 25 years, she brings a particularly distinctive perspective to international families. She understands how culture can influence attitudes towards money, authority, responsibility, individual choice and succession — and how these differences can remain unspoken between generations.
Through Sovia Generations, Bo creates a neutral and confidential space where family members can express different perspectives, navigate sensitive conversations and build greater understanding before important decisions are made.

“We spend considerable time preparing assets for the next generation. I believe we should devote just as much attention to preparing generations for one another.”
